Is it my idea, or is my Hekate pretty intense? There’s some serious mythological stuff going on in my chart! (Ceres-Moon-Hekate-Medea harmonious aspects)

I think when we add in all the asteroids we actually could, every chart ends up looking like this! And there are reasons most astrologers don’t use endless numbers of asteroids, the prime one being that we haven’t studied many of them long enough or deeply enough (or in a wide enough sample) in order to speak with real authority on their true meaning–it’s fun but not enough to just extrapolate from the mythology or the name implications. My thought is that asteroids tend to add dimension to the general energies described by the planets and lights; for instance, Ceres gets particular about our relationship to Mom and the maternal, and about our boundaries in nurturing, and so tells us about some facets of our Moon. Yes, Hekate is one we’re getting to know well enough that we could soon (some already do) use it as a matter of course–but I don’t.

First of all, I’m not sure that writing anything will be a good way to communicate with you, as you submitted questions when the page states in BIG RED LETTERS that I’m not taking questions at this time. But here goes:
1) Progressions come in many types, the theory being that one takes the natal chart and moves all points on it according to a formula (such as day for year, or Sun’s movement for one day equaling one year, and so on). This is supposed to show growth and evolution, in a sense, and can be used for timing–but it does not give you a different chart, your chart is still your natal chart–in fact, a Progression is meaningless without being compared to the natal.
2) No, I will not analyze your Progressed chart–that is a service for which you contract, not something done in comments.
3) There is an article explaining Venus square Saturn as a natal aspect quite thoroughly–please avail yourself of this, if you are interested–and note this is not related to the scenario you describe with your boyfriend (see #4, below).
4) Then you’re talking about Progressed charts as valid standing alone (which I’ve already said they are not), and are extrapolating in a way that suggests you’ve already formed theories–and when theories are based on suppositions that don’t work (such as that a Progression of some planet changes the way the person relates to others / sees things) there’s no point in me saying much, as what you are alleging just doesn’t follow.

I think your own question holds the answer: “How can I handle this energy without it destroy(ing) me with my very self destructive ways(?)” Ways of behaving are choices, not compulsions, and Self-destructive choices are yours to make or not–Pluto has nothing to do with it. Pluto contacting the personal planets does not necessarily mean negative things–in fact, it generally may signify that you have the chance to easily re-make those energies in their most positive form, as Pluto will assist in their transformation. The natal horoscope is not an excuse for what seems wrong, but a key that shows you how you can change what you don’t like, and with Pluto in contact to the personals, the problem isn’t Pluto, but the fact that you are choosing to ‘apply’ destructive Plutonian energy to those bodies that govern all identity and interaction, and calling it “karma”. Pluto asks you to make an effort to re-generate what it touches; I’m not saying your life is your ‘fault’, I’m saying how you meet things in life is purely a choice, and if you are willing to be Self-responsible, Pluto will help you turn it all around.

Hekate is parallel and sesisquare my 8th house BM Lilith/Sedna conjunction and forms a biquintile with my 5th house Moon/Kaali/Damocles/Pholus conjunction. Mercury, the ruler of Hekate, sits right on the cusp of my 3rd and is conjunct Neptune and Jupiter, all are in Scorpio – these three planets are the rulers of my chart’s angles. Hekate is also exactly contra-parallel my 6th house Chiron and quincunx my Vertex/Daphne conjunction, which sits at the midpoint of my Aquarius Moon/Chiron.

For many years I acted as the “gate-keeper” for a small, non-public school which served students with learning and/or emotional challenges. A big part of my job was being on the alert for potential crisis situations as well as for calling/coordinating emergency services when the need arose, which it frequently did. I’ve had to call 911 more than anyone I know and not always in conjunction with my work. I always seem to be in the right place at the right time.

My new path as a healer allows me to express my intuitive and mediumship gifts and seems to offer a solution to the dilemma posed by the sesisquare, where I was often faced with the option of speaking my truth and jeopardizing my position, or serving humbly and remaining silent, which meant compromising what I knew to be right (I was never able to remain completely silent). I’m realizing a big part of what I’m meant to do involves facilitating healing related to hidden issues around power, grief, or in facing death and old age.

I smiled when I read what you wrote about Miss K’s “natural intensity” and the challenges it creates. My Scorpio husband has been a blessing. It’s taken me a long time to grow into and fully embrace Hekate and other similar archetypes. In the process I’ve had to be willing to risk alienation as I’ve faced my own demons and learned to speak from my heart. As far as I’ve come, I have still further to go.

I realize this is a very long, very detailed comment which reads a lot like a resume (haha), so if you’d rather keep it private and not post it, I’ll completely understand. I really wanted to share with you how Hekate has played out in my life and also validate your insights. As I’ve said before, your posts so often speak to me, so thanks.

I have tried several website to try and find out where Hecate sits in my chart.

Is there any way (simply !!!) or a website I can work this out – I am only a newbie in astrology terms – so much by-passes me with the comments I read.

As I said in the email that accompanied the current issue of ECLIPSE, Tracy at serennu has an excellent ephemeris–just enter your birth data, and 100, Hekate’s asteroid number, in the ‘special objects’ field. You can also try astro.com, though I find serennu so quick and easy to use for placing asteroids I don’t go anywhere else!
